The ozone layer is a natural layer of gas in the upper atmosphere that protects humans and other living things from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Scientists discovered in the 1970 s that the ozone layer was being depleted.
The ozone layer must be protected. For this the use of CFC's has to be stopped. We must buy product that are labeled " ozone friendly " or " CFC free ".
